I think my favorite part of the photo is the blaze, ho-hum look on the faces of the other passengers. I do so love that about New York. A bunch of Santas riding the subway? Eh, I need to get to work.
BTW, memo to Metro: You see how all those jolly old fat men can all stand in the middle of the car and have room? That's because subway cars are all lined-up single file facing the middle fo the car. It creates space for people to stand. Think about it.
Everyone has stories of the things that happen to them or that they observe on the way to and from work each day. We have decided to give the world a look at the things that happen daily on the MTA New York City Subway and the WMATA Metrorail. We hope you enjoy your time here.
